Enough of this early holiday fuc$ing corporate nonsense ...

Every year the same thing when it comes to the holidays ...who can stay open the longest, the earliest ....who can start the sales early enough to get consumers through their doors, who has the best prices...who cares...its not about the holidays anymore its all about corporate profits and their bottom fuc$ing lines....30-40-55-74 -88 years ago, that was real Christmas ...those were real holidays. Today its all pretend ...give me back Christmas like it used to be when Christmas was Christmas ....
 
10 years ago, my mom told me our family had kind of agreed amongst themselves, no gifts for each other for Xmas, just something silly for the kids if really want to. Made Xmas a whole lot better, removed so much stress and exhaustion. Instead of giving gifts of crap, it's the gift of 'enjoy a holiday, a good meal, and each other'. Much better for me, I can avoid any stores from Halloween until after the Super Bowl.
