The appearance by Sheen was too long and forced.
I did like the tension between Brolin and Douglas during the charity dinner scene. Otherwise, not bad, not great. I'm not convinced Lebouf was the best choice.

Ya, that scene with Gekko and Fox was painful. Bordering on ridiculous. The dinner exchange was good. And Lebouf...meh. Crappy sequel, imo.

Ok, in her case maybe a hotness rating of '7.5' can be achieved without hair, but that's as high as I'll go. :p
Not sure what men see in women with short hair. :)

50% into it, the movie seemed good and had potential. But it was all downhill from there, with a silly, anticlimactic ending. Overall, not a good movie, quite disappointing.

The girl was terrible, a character that really did not need to be there. I guess Oliver wanted to play the daughter angle to show how the Gekko persona only cares about money. Not really necessary.

LeBouef was whatever. Many details were oversimplified, such as portraying the "evil" bank as one person.

Who was that weird old timer who bird whistled suppose to be? Greenspan? Any ideas?
I'd like to know too! Side note: he was in classic "The good, the bad, and the ugly." Great classic!

Eli Wallach. He was also in Godfather III as Al Pacino's backstabbing nemesis.
Excellent actor.

As far as who he represented... my guess is sort of an amalgam between GS/AIG (Churchill Shwartz). There were several hints that alluded to such.

Just finished watching it.

What a giant piece of crap.

I've seen the original well over 100 times. I will never sit through that stinker again.

Yeah, it stunk. I'd say 4/10. Douglas was good, Pendleton was a neat mad scientist and the old guy doing bird impressions was interesting as well. But some of the dialog, yikes. Like "He's a monkey dancing on a razor blade." WTF does that mean? And that dumb overlay phone call in the car?

Jail time for spreading rumors? Gecko supposedly does this really horrible thing to his daughter - but all he did was take back what was his. LaBeouf
has a right to be POed of course. Not the daughter. We're supposed to accept that she blames him for Rudy's death `cuz he was in jail? I wonder if originally she turned into a barking mad moonbat but they changed the story a bit.

Thanksgiving was at the TGregg Estate this year and there were requests for WS2, but I showed the original instead. Glad I did.

This thing still isn't available for instant viewing on netflix????? I thought sucky ass movies went to instant faster than they used to go to VHS.
