Wall Street Warriors

Watched first disc over the weekend. I just could not believe these bozos. Especially Timmy and Sandra, both are such clowns.

Sure if you work on 500mil deal, the clients would not mind you talking about it on tv, and you are obviously not busy enough to appear on reality tv. The truth is that if she is involved in 500 mil deal, she is probably responsible for raising few hundred K of that amount. This way it is not a lie.

Timmy, well, no need to discuss, the guy speaks for himself.

Alex, day trader, could be for real. The others, I have no clue.

Overall excellent comedy show.

I really liked the footage of ancient Amex, especially the part that until 1920s, the traders were signaling trades out of the windows and people were going from one lamp poll to another.

No he just wanted ET to know that he has Netflix and he's cool. Why do you need netflix when you can use torrents have the shit instantly?

Yes having Netflix is soooooo cool. Only the selected can afford it.
Wake up!!!!!!!!! :D :D

I watched this show on MOJO this morning. Is this supposed to be a parody? Watching Tim, an empty-headed egomaniacal blowhard who wears a shirt emblazoned with "TIMMAY!" across it, makes one embarrassed to call oneself a trader. On this episode he bought the top and sold the bottom, all the time babbling about what a great trader he is.

Let's not even talk about the "Financial Astrologer".

So far this show is an embarrassment to the trading profession.

False. That type of emotional weakness always, always leads to fiscal ruin as a trader. Many of us here have taken small trading accounts very large in the past. Those that kept their money can thank humility for part of the consistent success.

I'm sure your book will be a fun read for those who pick it up. My nightstand is too full of hunting mags and bee-keeping books to add any non-essential subjects to the growing stack. Good luck with that, though :)

BTW... if you ever make it up my way for signings, I'll be happy to chauffer you around. The new limo is big enough to hold all three of us... you and me seated up front, your ego comfortably stretched out in the back.

AP, this was your finest post...

This Timothy Sykes kid is such a joke... posting on ET during market hours... underperfoming money markets... yeah taking $20k or whatever to a mill + is an accomplishment I guess, but back then the markets were giving out free cash money by the bundle. You could recognize buyers and sellers back then Timmy, good job. Right now, though, the market is giving out free cash money too with this volatility - but Timmy is too busy defending his book on ET to be noticing it and trading the volatility. That's probably because he sucks too much to make any $$$ from the free gifts being given to us daytraders daily by the blessing of institutional panic.

Timmy you're in my book not a trader, so kindly shut the fuck up and get off this forum as you're a snake oil salesman. You have nothing worth writing about, no one cares about your failed experiences, why you were trying to run clients money into pink sheets, etc. You're lame, go away and get a life please. Thank you.

Hmm, I guess being a newsreader is easier than "click-trading" (as she puts it) the Schatz. :p
Still, she has done better than Sykes!

It is an odd career change for someone who claimed to be doing 10% of shatz daily volume. Is anything trully real in these series? My hope lies with Alex Gerchik.

As one of the stars of this show, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

You mean, you didn't pick your nose on camera?

Sure, I come off a little too cocky sometimes

That is like saying that Michael Tyson has a bit of a judgement problem.

I do wish they'd focused a little more on my trading itself as some of the edits don't really make sense

They probably found it necessary to remove most of it because they aren't interested in perpetual emotion machines. To any of us watching it, that would be quite a relief

The cool thing is that the thousands of emails I've received have played a large role in inspiring me to write my upcoming book, "An American Hedge Fund."

Judging on the reception you get here, little of what you say rings true
