For someone trying to convince us that rich and successful is bad, he seems to be doing very well for himself, as well as the Clintons, Obamas, and Biden.
I don't recall his ever saying rich and successful is bad. Just that those who are should contribute more in the way of taxes.

And so with that reported letter, he supposedly wants to block any new housing in the SF Bay area? You think maybe that comment is a bit of an overreach?
I suppose he would be ok with new housing in places like here

Assuming the letter is real, Robert Reich did not want an abandoned house in his neighborhood replaced with something where people would live. Do you see anything hypocritical about that?

And imposing a historical landmark on. a homeowner without his consent or approval?

Generally, that means you can't change the facade or make changes without approval.
Some people might be impressed with it, but I would never want a home like that and I don't think many others would like it either. You are drastically diminishing the number of people that might buy your home. No thanks.,
