The original was gritty. It was real. It had heart. The new one is lifeless, puerile, feel-good crap.
Shia Saide LaBeouf is miscast. Movie will stink because of it. They should have used an unknown actor.
A movie that would be popular on this thread would be a commercial flop and a bad investment for those in the movie business.

The original didn't need explosions, murder, or even foul language. Writers put those in to try to make up for a lack of talent.
