If I can figure out how to post without my account number, I'll try to put a futures guy into the mix if thats ok. Not as good as you equity guys in terms of dollars these days, but it pays the bills, well most of the time. :)

Ok I got a retail account going. I got a demo of TI up and going. I would like to do the same with whisper.....anybody out there using it....hydro...Buler?

IGolf, just a word of caution, what these guys are doing appears easy due to years of experience. I would suggest against jumping right into some of these stocks, as they are very volatile and can quickly rip you apart. I would recommend creating a trading plan and looking for an edge that is exploitable through your retail account, contingent on the amount of buying power you will have.

Thank you I appreciate the heads up. They guys posting their P/L definately look like they are pro's that know what they are doing. My idea was to use my TI demo and trade some stocks based on it with 100 shares to see how I do. That way I would give myself a point of error. I know that is a lot but I figure as I get better, if I get better I will give myself less room and up my size. How does that sound? The stocks these guys trade like GOOG are just nuts... I know I have to be careful.

It's very good that you understand what you're getting yourself into. Like DT mentioned, he does not use TI as a buy/sell signal but rather to give him a heads-up on the stocks moving for the day, as well as how he should trade for the day based on how some stocks are behaving (whether making strong moves or remaining choppy) - just keep that in mind ;)

Great thread!

I have taken some time off day trading to start a business. If this thing is still going in sept. (when I plan to start trading again) I will jump into the fray.......

Still trading relatively small (stepped up to 300 share orders since I've been on a bit of a win streak lately). Finally got a move on RIMM - been stopped out by it 3x in a row until today.

Realized a partial loss on TIVO from about 2 weeks ago. Looks like it may keep moving up but I'm gonna keep scaling out.
