If its a deposit style shop then you don't apply, you don't get hired, you dont work for them, its not a job.

Its just a brokerage account on steriods, without the protection you get at a retail brokerage firm.

Along the same lines, are there specific times of year when prop firms are usually hiring (e.g. fall and spring)?
