This guy is hilarious... This has to be April 1st right?...or he must be the joker because I don't think if he can remember 2007-2008-2009 etc because this guy literally bailed out every Fu$king worthless company back during the collapse...did he forget already, has it been that long???......all those worthless trillions went to bailout all those worthless companies and he is now saying that China NEEDS to let failing companies fail...

As I recall, I think he was pretty pro "let things fail" until everyone started wetting their pants after Lehman. Then he changed his tune and "fell in line".

Last I checked the vast majority of those "worthless" companies are doing well and you as the taxpayer made $15.3B in profit on the "bailout" (http://money.cnn.com/2014/12/19/news/companies/government-bailouts-end/). That said, clearly what constitutes a company that one should let fail is in the eyes of the beholder. Easy for us in the U.S. to tell China where they should ax a few hundred thousand jobs, harder if you're there and in the thick of it as Paulson found out.
