My account rep at TDA has agreed to proctor a trading competition in options/shares (no futures) provided that accounts are held at TDA. They won't be enforcing the wager, but they will be given LPOA at the end of the competition to vet the risk-adjusted returns; read-only.
I have negotiated $1 per contract on vola. Their standard rates on shares. NO TICKET CHARGES. You'll be able to maintain those rates, indenfintely, goinf-forward if you want to transfer IRAs, etc.
$100K net liq to start. Each contestant places $10K in an escrow of choice. We can have Baron or the TDA guy control the escrow account.
I'd like to get 10 people involved. Top prize would be $85K to the best risk-adjusted return. $10K to the winner's charity and $5K for escrow fees/custodianship.
