Wachovia trading under a buck

Yeah the ban on shorts really seems to be working...

From 10.00 close on Friday to under a buck over the weekend before RTH. Morning Session will be insane.
 
I'm amazed by the amount of bids and the volume. with no short covering, just who are these people buying the stock here

Does WB common stock still have value, given that AG Edwards still exists?

Citigroup assumed the debt - OK - but what about the balance sheet supporting AG Edwards?

I'm still puzzled by the FDIC action. is this the largest failure of a bank in US history or did they suspend property rights to facilitate a merger and to save FDIC funds?Did the wachovia board and ceo agreed with this, the government seem to be violating property rights and this is shameful, an absolute disgrace
 
David Faber on CNBC has said that the equity is a zero .... but I'm not convinced that's the case.

Surely AG Edwards is worth more than that?
