VWAP Indicator

Quote from RenkoTrades:

I know two quant groups that make a lot of money trading full auto. Both of them told me vwap was backtested heavily with no advantage found at all for potential s&r or trade set ups.

I have looked at vwap and after a week I could not find any tangible use. Trading simple is the best answer. Follow the price action and stick to trends.

Ya discretionary trading takes into account a lot...for better or worse. I like at least finding out ways to dimension or profile a market......

some people use RSI, Stochastic and MACD. I can't. doesn't mean those studies are useless.
Trade simple and stick to trends - I agree.

BTW, did you look at intra day VWAP or longer term? if longer term then what program? I'm still looking for it . If short term then I agree with you - not so great.

Did you try ninja trader yet... its free.. I'm almost positive you can get it done there

I downloaded ninja about a year ago and it seemed very not user friendly so I deleted it at once, I wouldn't know to program it anyway.

I have looked at session and multi-session vwap with nothing special standing out imo.

your in love with Renko though . haha
For vwap I looked at all time frames and nothing is really there to work with. Minute, hourly, tick, volume, etc. I do not see any value in vwap from my research.

I know exactly why I want the VWAP I want.
