VPN/IKE problem with Netgear

I have a Netgear VPN problem that I've been unable to resolve. I'm using the Netgear VPN-client software on XP against the Netgear router/firewall/VPN device. All on latest rev.

During phase 2 of IKE, the client generates the following error:

"QM re-keying timed out. Retry count 1"

Phase I completes fine, so some of the settings must be OK.

The Netgear router/VPN device generates the following error:
[IKE] Failed to get IPsec SA configuration for: 192.168.x.x/24

Any ideas what these error messages mean?
