Volume on Currenex

i wonder if volume is displayed on Platforms like Currenex and FXALL?

since they say that the DOM is displayed then it shouldn't be a big deal for them to show volume traded.
Also i wonder if one can use the volume on the CBOT euro futures as a broxy to the spot?
i am singling out the Euro contract since it's the most liquid.

Any thoughts?
 
Volume around the current level is displayed on Currenex.

There are three different ways to display the volume on the Cx platform. You can modify by using the drop down menu in the center of the platform on the top. It defaults to "Standard." When the volume is shown as Standard each counter party and each price point has its own row. So what that means is that you will see Qty and Bid/Offer broken out. So if there are three banks feeding in prices at 64 you'll see it displayed as:

10 | | 64
3 | | 64
7 | | 64

Its is displayed in at FIFO manner so the first bank to feed in a price of 64 did so with 10MM behind it, the second with 3MM and so on. On the "Standard" display of price you can execute by double clicking on the row you want. This method will not display anything under Cpty.

The second way that the prices can be displayed is in a "Consolidated" format.This consolidates all the volume by price and displays the total volume available at that price. If more than one bank is feeding in at that price point the Cpty column will display MULT. You cannot execute from Consolidated. If the above example was shown using consolidated it would look like this:

------------------
20 |MULT| 64

The last method of display is VWAP which stands for Volume Weighted Average Price. This display method is executable and will not show anything under Cpty. How this method displays prices is the cumulative volume available and the average price you would get for execution of that total volume. Here is an example. If you have $1 millions EUR/USD available at 1.1830 and $1 million available at 1.1832 you would have a VWAP of 2million @ 1.1831.

but what about volume executed already,
get esignal to show the volume executed at different price level at the chart just like futures and stocks ?

You won't be able to access that historical info from the platform. The closest thing might be to use an API to capture the data but it won't backfill.
