Volume Alerting Software

Is there any software out there that can give me an alert based on volume increase within a certain time frame.(not based on previous days volume)

For instance: software would alert me if stock xyz's volume increased over 80k within 60 seconds.

Thanks in advance... I have been reading and learning from the threads on this forum for a while now and finally decided to register :)

Check out InverstorRT at http://www.linnsoft.com.

There is a tool in that program called Tick Velocity that does exactly what you want. The downside of the program is you need a data feed (eg. Esignal) and the preparation of the Tick Velocity tool is quite tedious.

I should specify a little more about the InvestorRT alert. It's not a volume alert. Instead, it measures the # of trades over a specified time, compared to another time period.

I looked at their page, but to tell You the truth, I did not understand to much of it?
my english is ok but my home language is german.
I use qcharts, and I didnt understand if I would need it further, when I subscribe to falconeye. is it also a regular data feed software? and how is the data feed? reliable?
are You using falconeye alone or with some other data feed?

ich habe Falconeye nicht empfohlen sondern nur darauf hingewiesen, das es im Zusammenhang mit der oben gestellten Frage ein nützliches Instrument sein kann.

Falconeye ist ein stand-alone Produkt mit integriertem Datenfeed. Für jemand der bestimmte Daytrading-Strategien an der Nasdaq mittels Level 2 Orderbuch quotes verfolgt, kann es sehr es sehr nützlich sein. Insbesondere die Alert-Funktionen, die es erlauben, NASDAQ Aktien auf der Basis von technischen Indikatoren zu verfolgen, halte ich für sehr interessant.

Allerdings bietet Ravenquote eine Reihe vergleichbarer Funktionen , und die nicht nur für Nasdaq Stocks.

Sehr hilfreich scheinen in Falconeye die verschiedenen statistische Auswertungen der Trades auf Level 2 zu sein.

Wie gesagt - für denjenigen, der nur Nasdaq Stocks intraday traded.

Ich selbst zähle mich nicht zu den Scalpern und deshalb benutze ich es auch nicht. Ein RT Datenfeed genügt mir, da ich mich eher zu den Swing und Positiontradern zähle. Was nicht ausschließt, das ich ab und zu auch ausgiebig Intraday trade .
