Volente's Bar and Grill

Quote from rknas:

People shorting a surging uptrend, hope you got enough cash to blow. How about catching pullbacks of the uptrend for a long? :p

It is not an uptrend.

I can identify exactly the algos that kicked in to intentionally blow the shorts into pieces.

It is market manipulation ... eh ...

oh, my bad, it is now called active monitoring of the equity market. =P

Lc not to belabor the point but you and volente issued your share of massive sell off posts for the past 70 points. I continuously admit when I'm wrong and I feel that has made me the trader I am today. Certainly a sell off will show up but man you gotta admit you were/are way wrong and if you actually were short from those calls you'd be insolvent.

I'm not going after you like a piker as I am not; I just had to comment as you were clearly wrong on the macro call.

Market manipulation is different from normal market dynamics.
The ones in control can and do change their minds.
Assuming the scenario as static may or may not help one to trade properly.

The last few times I posted the potential turns, they dropped 30, 30, and 40 points. All happened except that every one was terminated by either news fed out from Europe or US gov itself (e.g. rumor then confirmed direct stock buying by Israel gov). That I have no control over.

=)
