Volatility Flatline - Defibrillator required

Don't worry. People are getting trained to sell volatility. They are getting comfortable with that trade. It seems like a sure thing because "Volatility is never coming back." Its the kind of trade that you can lever the hell out of and not worry.

Someday the market will move and keep on moving and not revert to the mean. All those traders will fuel the move trying to get out and volatility will come back.

yea.. but that can be a one time event.. say it lasts for a few weeks or months where we get a huge directional move..

After that we are back to the boring chop and grind..
