Vol-trading for beginners

An Apple verified ISV utility bricked two of my Macs last night. Over $20K in hardware bricked. It's not accepting my login password... a low level pswd that I have used for 15 years. I cannot fathom the stupidity of 1) spending >$20K on Mac hardware and 2) Apple building the amazing M1 SoC and then F*CKING GIMPING IT with this monumental T2 nanny shit. FU Apple. Die.

I can wipe the drive but it denies my Apple ID pswd as well bc of T2. That's how I identified the problem related to M1. I gave my Intel MBP to one of my kids and no problems with the utility.

I will be trading on my wife's X1 Carbon until Lenovo can ship me that Threadripper.

I'll be busy but I have plans for this thread.

(sle) The iMac Pro was an Intel system. A quant in NY bot it (no relation). ;)

I know how much you like Mac. Sounds like you’ve been a user for a long time. It must feel like a betrayal. My sympathies

wish I could use Linux with popular brokers

Damn Apple wtf. I have a Thinkpad P1 Gen 2 (i9 with 64G RAM) and I like it. Threadripper is next level shit... I wish I would have waited to get the P14/15 with AMD.

Do you keep it simple when getting short forward vol (i.e. long Mar / short Jun vix futures root time neutral)? Or is there a better way to put that on with options?
