I'll be the first to admit I'm making the same mistake with VMW as I did with GOOG.

It was strictly a day trade but the long term picture is good for VMW. We'll continue to watch this baby shoot off being afraid to pull the trigger at what we think are inflated prices and before you know it, it will have doubled in 6 months-1 year.

Then again, it may shit the bed but doubtful...

Ditto. We have been moving to VMWare server over the past 6 months to virtualize all of our servers. Will have around 30% of our hardware(server) costs this year and 60% next.
