Vix?

Any thoughts on the VIX coming down in the coming days? It certainly has had a run, and is still at 39. Seems like it should take a dive soon. ??

Still at 39? It closed 31.58.
I watched the puts go down today even as the market dropped, so the fear is definitely receding. I could see another drop in the market spike the VIX back up since not a lot are looking for it.

I'm already long XIV, and am considering adding it to other portfolios I manage (friends).
