Is there VIX for QQQ? What is regular VIX vol related to?

Nasdaq vix - I think they have a futures contract, but don't think there's much volume.

1) I believe it's VXN. You may be better off merely using options on AAPL and/or GOOG as a reasonable proxy instead.

Yep, it's VXN. If you trade more than 1 contract, you'll be the entire daily volume.

Sounds useless, better to just use VIX.
