Vitamin K2 and the Paleo Diet

oh thank you!
btw, i'm in no way anti-american.

i just laugh at poor fat people who happen to live in america.
may god shine a bright light of mercy among the sheep, who never had a chance to hunt for food...

Makes sense. There is a review on that Amazon site about how human teeth aren't nearly as healthy as wild animal teeth, and how the difference is because of the respective diets. I am sure there are many other parts of animals which are much healthier than ours because of our shitty diets.

Healthy natural food vs modern processed crap we've been programmed to buy through advertising?

Just seems obvious to me.

Teeth are healthier in animals because they die if they are not.

Check out Dr Steven Sinatra's book, "Metabolic Cardiology", K2 or often packaged as MK7 is a vital link in regulating proper calcium levels, a cousin to CoQ10... in large doses have shown to reverse calcium deposits on arterial walls, actually plaque, cholesterol and calcium deposits, are the bodies way of protecting the arteries, today's statin drugs prohibit the body from forming cholesterol but do not address the actual reason the body tries to wall or paste over the artery, it's weak and in the process of tearing due to mineral deficiencies on the cellular level.

The whole good/bad cholesterol level medical debate is wrong, address why the body produces excess and/or stores bad cholesterol - fix that and then the levels don't matter.

What supplements reverse heart disease? Which supplements prevent it?

The body has a natural ability to heal itself but there are some things it needs to help it along.

The number one thing...Clean drinking water and lots of it. Think of a dirty sewer...if just a little bit of water runs through it, the sewer doesnt get clean...sure some chunks of filth might float away, but just a little bit of water does nothing. But if you fill that sewer with alot of water, It quickly gets clean. Your body is like that too. You need ALOT of water to flush out all the bad stuff thats hurting your body. A good rule of thumb is to drink at least .66oz of water per day for every pound of body weight.

Deep breathing is also something you should do. That cleans your lymphatic system.

Deep breathing is so important because, unlike our blood flow, the lymph system does not have a ‘pump’ to push the lymph fluids around our bodies. Rather, the lymph system requires the muscular movement which is created by breathing.

As well as acting as a filter, the lymph system is also able to destroy bacteria, viruses and abnormal cells, such as cancer cells. The lymphatic system also plays a huge role in the effectiveness of our immune system.

If I remember right, you should 1 big breath 1 count in, 4 counts hold, 2 counts breath out. Do it for 5 to 10 minutes per day and you'll see a huge difference in how you feel.

Drinking green drinks also helps flush toxins out of you and alkalizes your body (since most peoples bodys are acidic, they need some alkalinity) Although its very hard to get past the headaches you get when you first start drinking green drinks (the headaches are the toxins flushing from your system)

Alright...thats enough chatter from me.

According to the book K2 is the only vitiman that is proven it can reverse and prevent heart disease. I haven't checked on pubmed to verify her facts. She lists all the studies where she got her info.

If K2 is important a plant based diet is not enough.

From wikipedia: Vitamin K2 (menaquinone-4) is synthesized by animal tissues and is found in meat, eggs, and dairy products

Id strongly suggest you pick up a copy of his book, and while it's a bit text-bookish, he often goes into detail on how cells work, he puts it in a way that it's easily comprehended. His key is cellular health, heart muscle renewal and regeneration.

In his book he includes case studies and statistics.

According to his book he's seen the best results with a combination of these 4; CoQ10, L-Carnitine, D-Ribose and Magnesium. He goes into detail how each work, also is a list of other nutritional supplements and diets he uses with his patients on individual needs, K2 is one of these.

He uses these in conjunction with traditional methods, but it's his discussions on the actual causes of heart disease and why these supplements help prevent and reverse it that turn the mainstream beliefs upside down

Most vegan diets fail as they do not offer the body all proteins and amino acids it needs, there are a few (handful) plant foods that will, but most vegan diets don't.

im not a vegan but that is simply not true. other than b12 you can get every thing you need from plants.
what humans dont need is food with a lot of saturated fat and no dairy at all.
