are you sure it won't hurt anything? with the way my laptop has been acting I'm worried that if I update the driver it might end up not displaying anything on the screen at all. maybe I should create a restore point first
no i am not sure. never will be with windows or any other os. they are complicated.
but that is what i would do. creating some type of backup i guess would be the safe thing to do. i would say it probably won't be needed but do it just in case.
