Personally I have no problem with the lockdown even if it's much much more strict here - can go out twice a week, 5 hours at a time, military checkpoints everywhere. Besides showing a strong disregard to individual freedom, it sounds pretty much like wasting own's life to me, with an increased phsychologicsl and physical cost to those who are used to a more active life, as well as almost all children. Economic cost us huge as well, u don t seem to need it working from home but afaik lots of philipinos need to get out to make a living

Nice find, not as good as hoped 21.2% for NYC, much better than everyones 3% for sure.

Still early days it takes time for antibodies to be detected maybe.

14days to symptoms average.
7 days to over it with or without symptoms?
I read 28days till antibodies detectable sounds to high go 7days.

So 2 or maybe 3 weeks ago NYC at 21.2%, so 40 - 60% here depending on lockdown strength.
 
Actually its right virus totally eradicating is not possible. But control is possible. COVID- 19 is new virus, and for a new virus vaccine create need minimum 8-12 years. So, its not easy. But its possible that this virus affection rate cintrol. Scientists research more and more but they couldn't find any way for controling this virus. Death number are increasing day by day.

Its really very bad situation in our World.

I quite like the cocky landlords here having to eat humble pie now. Their arrogance had no bounds before. Many Filipinos here get paid by the government, rents are frozen as well. There's some suffering but there always is.

No beer drinking where I am now (liquor ban). Article is entirely correct, they are using the situation to solidify their power. Never mind all the power hungry authoritarians in the police force and military. I won't go into detail for obvious reasons.
