Yup. And that is why we have a duty to defend the country against people who have tried to overthrow it by coup. They must be hunted down and neutralized or neutered at a minimum.

It's my understanding that a normal citizen has the right to make a citizen's arrest if they witness a crime being committed. I wonder if these individuals were within their rights to arrest someone that had crossed the border illegally? Doesn't an asylum seeker have to apply for asylum before crossing the border?

On a side note, the border patrol has thousands of unfilled jobs. These individuals ought to fill out applications so that they get paid for what they're doing.

We wish. If only that were the case. But the dems and the never-trumpers in the republican party will not amend the law to require that.
