Video of a trader blow up Today, NSFW lol

Wow. Did you see he owned 2440 shares of apple at 171? He hasn't posted for a few days. I wonder if he is still alive.

Making 1,000,000 by 36. Starting with 72k and 170k loan at the age of 32
...
The reason why I made this goal was I see my family (mostly on my dad’s side) work hard all their lives so they can retire at 63+. When they retire their standard of living is the same as most of their lives. This to me sounds like a poor outcome. Now I am not putting down people or etc but I can’t see myself work for 40+ years to retire to the same standard of living as I lived while I worked.
I guess he appreciate a little more about the choice his dad made.

It appears this dude in NC he mortgaged his house to start daytrading? This is sad. I wonder where HPT got his money. Maybe that has something to do with these losses or, losing so much when you can't possibly have a clue.

$62,146.88

It'd be hard for me to keep the gun from my head.

it's all relative..... for someone who has say $1m in long term holdings, a 30% draw down, which happens quite a few times, amounts to $300k.

One has to psychologically prepared for this, otherwise he'd be scared out of his holdings at the worst time.

Yep

All these people selling out of the positions. I see a giant BEAR on the cover of my fav news page today. Sounds like capitulation for now.

I was watching this thing bottom today (aapl), the bots rule; the low was under $125.00, I wonder where he puked probably $135.00. Drawdown like that in two days is why I like to be in and out fast.

Another blogger blowing out, I think he has more money in the wings, I guess the dollar amount is personal to each person and where they are starting from, and if they ever worked at McDonalds lol.

People get blown out everyday. They don't need a crash as an excuse.

Getting blown out during a crash is no big deal, it is only a blip on the screen. Real traders get over it and make a come back. Wannabes disappear into oblivion.
