So it looks like it was unintentional that she hit him. She was holding on real tight to some other dudes shirt and as they carried her away, it's like her hand lost it's grip from the shirt and swung forward.
The cop on the other hand had a knee jerk reaction. I don't think he even thought about what he was doing and that swing was just on autopilot. In my opinion, you don't want a police officer who has these kind of reactions on the force. He should be fired, not because he hit some drunk chick who was causing problems, but because in the future, he could be a real danger to someone and kill them. God forbid that cop ever has to draw his gun on someone because they'd be dead whether or not they were complying with his orders.

You know this is an extreme case. But yes, if she was my daughter I would feel ashamed to see her in such state in public. She was not passed out and had most likely been insulting the officers for some time. As for the cop, hope he doesn't get in trouble. I have zero tolerance for stupid drunk idiots that assault others. Fuck them!
I agree she was disgustingly drunk which I don't like to see and needed to be removed.

Well, with that being said, I really hope he didn't hurt her.
She tried to slap him, no question but the cop shouldn't have punched her, she was a half a drink from being passed out anyways.. if it was white cop on black chick it would be all over the Internet and news and they'd be crying.
So let's walk through the situation. The cops are called over to Section 129 because the woman, Freitas was arguing with other fans while “using profanity in a loud and boisterous manner.” She was also swinging and hitting another lady. She also proceeds to curse out the police. Then she proceeds to strike an officer twice while being carried off.
My daughter does not appear in public completely drunk, abusing other people, and assaulting officers. However if she ever sunk to this level I would who not hold it against the cop who belted her once with his fist directly after she struck the officer while being carried off. Now if the officer took out a club or punched her many times in this type of situation then I might question if the force was excessive.

We should also note - 'Freitas, who works as a nurse, has been arrested at least once before in 2012 (pictured left), when she was charged with battery.' Appears she has a track record.

Without agreeing or disagreeing with the cops here, I nevertheless have some sympathy for the cops in dealing with some women. It is taboo in our culture for a man to use any type of force against a woman, yet some of these bitches are prepared to tear you apart and when they are hyped up on meth they might as well be like the Gentle Giant there in Furgeson. And of course as we know, even the Gentle Giant who tried to kill the cop was considered by the libtoids to be the victim.

I'm not defending an obnoxious drunk. Throw her out of the game, arrest her, whatever. I'm just saying a cop who looks like an NFL defensive lineman has no business hitting a defenseless woman with his fist while she is being held by other cops. That is such an obvious conclusion I am shocked that any of you could doubt it.

Excusing this kind of blatant police overreaction does no one any favors, least of all the cops who somehow think this kind of abuse is ok. At a minimum this cop lost his cool, which is bad enough, or perhaps he thought, now I have an excuse to tune up this bitch. Either way, he should be fired and prosecuted.
