The days of The GOP winning TX by 20 are over.Houston,Dallas,San Antonio,Austin,and El Paso are all already solid blue with Democrat mayors and voted for Hillary.

Beto should run for President.Hate seeing such a great candidate being stuck in Texas.
Cruz is very much a conservative. I spend a lot of time in Texas, several friends there. All are tired of Cruz, it's not his politics, it's his lack of charisma. That's the only reason Beto is even close.
If they'd run a home grown, southern roots, right wing, Son of Texas - lights out the party's over for the Dems.
Beto should move to California. That's his only chance at election
Trump only won by single digits and GOP voters love him down there.Texas is turning blue no matter who The GOP runs.
He would do great in purple states as well.
