Very newb excel question

I am just getting started with trading software and would appreciate some help with my basic need.

I just need certain quotes in an excel file which I can then use to manipulate. Yahoo data is fine if that works.

I currently have an adhoc setup where I have various portfolios in yahoo finance which are imported to an excel file. It's quite messy since I only know how to import the full web page, not just the price information I want. And the full web page sometimes changes, forcing me to adjust the excel cells my calculations are pointing to.

Any help for my newb self is appreciated.

Down at the bottom of the page is a link that reads "Download To Spreadsheet". Try downloading and opening the file in Excel.

Thank you for the tip, but that only provides static data. I wasn't clear in my question. I need data that is updatable. My current setup is updatable, but it's not very pretty.
