first off, volume wasn’t average, in fact it was the opposite.

secondly, you don’t need to trade a fly, you can do any combo you want

Average volume is around 8.5m.. wanted to see way above average volume to confirm breakout.

If my delta1 trades weren’t working so smoothly I would’ve liquidated my ZOOMFLY today.

Flies can go from a wash to realizing profits so quickly. Once again spot is testing my lower wing ($360). Today’s price action is almost EXACTLY what I needed to happen to save this from washing. The volume that accommodated the move is also a tell tale, ZOOM wants to go up a bit more (hopefully). Most likely will exit tomorrow. Fly is currently quoted at $3.20View attachment 248894

Ride those bitches get your money's worth. I'm most likely going to be assigned away on RIG Friday but she gave me a fun tussle long the way. I've got poor man's covered call doing well in GE a stock I like to take revenge on. But having more fun figuring out the flies. Covered my short puts in VBIV for a profit this week. AMC remains a turd. But eventually someone scrapes a turd across the yard a bit. I'm looking at that BXRX and selling a call against it. Didn't pull the trigger yet.

for some reason I had trouble filling my $ZM fly exit, as well as the TLT entry. I’m not sure why I’m having trouble with fills.

I might have to watch these spreads more, intraday.

for my stocks, I just buy and let em work. Zero theta so I swing em.

but for flies I’m going to need to either set a predetermined order or watch price action. ZM ran up from the open to midday linearly, tagged 384 and subsequently sold back down. The fly was quoted at $10 bucks at one point smfh!

Just wanted to mention $AMPY. I’ve been in this in another account since October avg. 0.83c ... even though it’s up like 200% (I’m greedy), $2.15 is STILL a bargain. This stock has so much room for the up continued up move.
