I find this extremely useful while trading emini futures, keeps you from getting headfakes, huge rallys and sharpens entries.
 
Hey ozzy,

Just wondering how do you get $3.30 roundtrip from IB for futures?

On their site it is listed as 4.80 for IB roundtrip (bundled) for ES.
Unbundled is still 3.42 if you trade greater than 20k contracts a month...

Am I missing something here?

Just making sure I'm not missing out on a cheaper broker.

PS. I'm also starting out on futures trading, just waiting for my broker to recieve my futures paperwork before paper trading on Ninjatrader.
 
Hi Everyone:

Not much to say today. My trading is completely off. It was a lot better trading real money. Too many distractions in my life these days. On a day where I should have made a killing I made peanuts. Go figure.

Net Profit = $437.20
Account Balance = $9030.20

Observations/Events
---------------------------

** Woke up late and groggy (couldn't sleep last night)
** Too many distractions during the day. I can't trade like this.
** Did not go long ER2 AH's last night after IBM results (stomach said yes, brain did not follow)
** On a positive note went short today AH's on ER2 @ 668.9 (still open). I expect a 2 point gap down minimum.
