Vendor question

Intuitively came to my mind that truetype could be NoBias
Guys look at his pattern of giving "like " very quickly and not posting to understand that he would have an agenda to spoof
And biggest spoof would be to impersonate Marketsurfer.
It creates headache and if true seems to be working

PS Don't tell me i come to Marketsurfer's defense again. My motivation is to talk to NoBias in this post.

I personally know NoBias. I know only a small handful of people here personally and he happens to be one of them and can swear on any family members head that he is not a Durf alias nor truetype.

If true, where did NoBias get the image of MarketSurfers hand?, it is clearly surfs hand.

it is "criminal" mind guys. You have to ask yourself why is he laying low.
And all your quick replies from the same "bunch" tells me that i am on to something, because you are having fun and NoBias (if i am correct-i could be full of shit),this is only my theory told you all he will do it and you are having great time.

Now that would be his motivation that all of you have good laugh, buddy buddy.

Smart people when they onto something they lay low.Not on anybody's radar you know ;)

Oh, if it were only this easy. :fistbump: Unfortunately in this stage of the internet game there are far too many ways around that. Hard to believe but 10-15 yrs ago I used to keep an Excel spreadsheet with everyone's IP address and that was sufficient (!) to catch 80%+ of multiple aliases, people sneaking back in after bans, etc. That simplistic approach stopped working many, many years ago. So there are other methods that sometimes work, sometimes don't, but I want to disabuse you and anyone else of the notion that it's an easy matter of just checking IP's.

About a month ago I was reading about how some social media sites (like Facebook) use "algorithms" to detect images, messages profiles to determine what to delete including banning those that post similar like.

I think they call it "Heuristic Algorithms" and what I mentioned above is just simple stuff but it does some crazy advance detection stuff beyond the basic stuff I mentioned. Sounds good but nothing is perfect.

Maybe one day when its affordable and forum owners can use the same technology we'll then eliminate the multiple aliases but I thought it'll fix the "shill problem". I know a few here that have personal friends as members at ET too. Thus, they are quick to defend and support their friend in any debate. Therefore, they can do the same for someone marketing their products here at ET as an approved vendor/sponsor by Baron or as someone trying to do the same without paying for the privilege to do such.
