There are many stories/posts with this same message on the net. Anyone who reads them knows there is plenty to be concerned about for taking the jab.... yet all the petty tyrants from Biden on down MANDATE that you take it! What's wrong with this picture?

Like running a redlight. You are endangering other people so you must obey that law.
There is a difference though.
If someone says "redlights are stupid and I'm not going to obey them", then they'll pay the price if they do. Same thing with car seats.
Difference is however, those people have the option to NOT drive.
Don't wanna obey the rules, don't drive.
I think restaurants, gyms, stores, etc in NYC should be given a choice, but make the law such that those businesses that comply get a special sign:
"Our Employees are all Vaccinated"
Then let the consumers decide.
I for one would not eat in a restaurant that didn't have fully vaxed employees making my food.
Let the market do its thing.
Capitalism.

The restaurants and bars whose employees are vaccinated in Raleigh are completely full --- many other restaurants are empty. Consumers have already decided. A number of local restaurants also require proof of vaccination for customers to dine indoors -- they are booked out for months.
