Wow....the posts were consecutive and it was pretty clear what it was (for those that trade ES regularly). Someone thought you closed an equity option position on Sunday night? haha

Here's your golden opportunity to shine Van, show us you can do it as we have heard lots.Nice.
Show the world what I already knew about you.
That was part of the reason I did this too. You can't even fake not being a total loser.![]()
In all fairness, @southall has a point. The entry was clear for the 2 ES contracts, but the exit is buried within comments about TSLA. Yes, an experienced trader will realize equity markets are closed, and will understand quoting ES with only the 2 last digits, and if he is really quick with numbers, he will remember the 24 entry, know an exit at 16 is 8 points lost, and know this is $400 per contract, so that is how you get to ($800), but its lots of steps to jump through.Wow....the posts were consecutive and it was pretty clear what it was (for those that trade ES regularly). In my humble opinion, the confusion is justified, although its obvious that @destriero moves a million a minute in his thought process so he sees things differently.
Holy shit. TSLA ain't helpin this mkt. Out 16.00 ($800).
It’s long mkt into TSLA news. Referring to the ES loss. You are either profoundly unmedicated ADHD or autistic.
Paid 24.00 on two Sep ES to open.

I liked the long ES idea even though it went against the grain of Friday's close. I thought it may have been a relative position tactical adjustment to partially "lock in" an early, but significant lead on Vanzandt.
I'm surprised it resulted in an eight point loss. I have heard that successful ES traders rarely lose more than 3 points on a ES trade and top traders, with a prior floor trading background, don't usually give up more than 1 tick
