Thanks MTE, I understand I can get the contract specs (point value, $ per point) and prices online, what I'm after is an online resource which calculates this for each commodity for you (total $ value of holding one lot) and updates this value as the prices update. Apart from anything else I want to use it to double check I've calculated the correct contract value when trading futures. Is there any such resource available?
