You didn't read my post. I said "rapidly mutating viruses". Measles, some flu and other viruses are not rapidly mutating. Therefore, vaccines are possible. Coronas as different. They mutate rapidly. There are two more coronas that have been detected in the last three weeks as well. The original corona has already mutated into different variants.
Once again, rapidly mutating viruses develop resistance very fast. Challenging them with vaccines is a huge mistake.

Fair enough, I generally assume people don't know what they're talking about. I'm glad you clarified your position....and though I agree in principle, RNA & DNA vaccination pursuits should continue, even for RNA viruses.
We dont even have vaccines available. First trials started which take ~4 months to do. The data needs to be collated and they then need to make sure the vaccine will even still work with the current strain. After that it's another 5-6 months of refinement and further testing and collation of data.
This is without the normal FDA procedures.
It is going to be speed up. It will go without any uproval, specially abroad. There is a world outside the USA. Even if a vaccine is just half good (as long as it doesn't kill), they will release it for hospital workers and such.
