UYG / SKF Volatility Difference

Is there a common sense consensus reason why UYG(ultra long financial) has increased only 3.7 times from $1.50 to $5.50 from its peak volatility in March; while SKF(ultra short financial) decreased 10 times--$250 to $25 from its March peak volatility.
