Using the option market to screen for stocks ready to run

The ebb and flow, the flow of the ebb.
Is it the dog wagging the tail? Or the tail wagging the dog?
Do options move stock? Or does stock move options? It is neither?
All I can think of is, stock came before options. Options a derivatives of stock. Stock isn’t a derivative of options, thus stock would move options. But there’s been many a research into the effects of options expiration and other studies and how volatile a stock becomes because of the speculation within its option market.
