Using Quantum Physics to "play the market"

Quantum physics borders on the irrational and "magical" concepts. Quantum entanglement is one of its findings. That two particles no matter the distance will switch states instantly even if one of the particles is on the otherside of the Universe.

So when it applies to trading do things irrationally and "magically"

...go long equities no matter how bad the news is!

Surf reality by making decisions that alter the future version of the Universe you travel through.:sneaky:

Most participants in the markets are rational, so order flow is one sided when the rational thing to do is place positions on the side that makes sense. So market makers have to deal with this one sided order flow. They need to force the rational players out of their trades by doing the most irrational thing, going against the crowd.

That reminds me of what many of us went through early on when nothing seemed to work. "The answer is clear, I need to fade myself."

Uncertainty principle in quantum physics states the more precisely the position of the sub atomic particle is known the more difficult it is to assess momentum.

More precisely momentum of the market is known the less precise your entry position needs to be.o_O

Linear momentum takes into account direction and magnitude.

Quantum entanglement states that a particles subatomic state when entangled with another particle switches states instantaneously.

When the public is short the MM's are long instantaneously.

The most applicable concept I can see for quantum entanglement is for arbitraging between new york and chicago.

Still a ways away.

I don't know if I really believe in that, don't get me wrong I'm a skeptical atheist science guy, but some things are just to out there and fringey, give it 50years they'll likely find an error in there testing or a more rational explanation for the effect.

Science encourages questioning and doubting, religion the opposite so it's good to question everything.
