I am currently using 2 Nvidia NVS450 Quad Cards. I am going to get a new machine built for trading and need to purchase a new graphics card. I have chatted online to Nvidia and they have recommended the NVS810 or P1000, but these cards are expensive. I would rather spend the money on the processors and memory, anyone recommend a better option.

NVS 450 is very old and slow. How many monitors you want to run in your new rig? What resolution?. For trading only (or other "GPU lite" applications) or gaming also?

Why stop there? AMD has a 12-port card.
The new machine will be solely used for trading. Will have 6 monitors attached to begin with but want the option to have 2 more if needed. The resolution of my monitors is 1920 x 1080.
If you ultimately want 8 monitors, you will most likely need 2x, quad-port video cards. (The other option is to have 4x, dual-port cards... but you'd need 4x, PCIEx16 slots on your mobo to mount them.)
IF your mobo has 4x, PCIEx16 slots... you could use something like Nvidia NVS 310/1GB video cards which you could buy used for ~$20 each on eBay. (They may be old, but they work well.) If you don't have 4x, PCIEx16 slots, you'll have to go for the 2x, quad-ports. Possible options... Nvidia Quadro P620 (which I use) for ~$165-$180 each or less if you can buy used. There is also Nvidia Quadro T600. AMD has WX3200 and Wx4100. The P620 will likely be the lowest price. Buy hey.. shop around. Might be some left over Presidents day bargains still going on.

For the sake of your OS, it's important that both cards be of the same model.
It is being built for trading with multi monitors. If I am going to spend 5 thousand dollars on a new machine. I am not sure about you, but I am definitely going to do some research beforehand.
