Allow me to state what should be obvious to the OP but apparently isn't:
MA trading works when the market is trending more than not. When the market is choppy more than not, using MAs is disastrous.
And using 116 as a MA period is hilarious for reasons that will never be deduced by the OP.

MA also does not work when market participants are not trading in enough volume. For example, many after hour markets, price moves sideways and crossovers don't matter.
