Using ATR for NQ Stops and Targets

..If evereyone used less limits and mroe marekt orders we could be PROACTIVE and move the market. same can be doen with stops to enter the market. or MIT orders to enter. anyone noticed the FLIPPER in teh nasdaw mini? he turns into a momentum igniter also at certain times.

You are out of your mind. We'll move the market with our minimal lots with market orders? What are you on about? And who is FLIPPER?

I don't use stop at all trading mini es or mini naz nd I use a lot of straight mkt orders to get in and out. mkt orders pusht eh market in your direction. You do not use stops when trading Emini ES or Emini NQ futures.

How did you perform in October and the first week of November while trading those two without stops during those crazy volatility trading durations ?

You can never get "everyone" to use LESS limit orders and MORE market orders even if you took out newspaper ads in financial magazines, TV commercials on financial networks along with announcing it all at various popular trading forums...all at the same time.

Yet, I do agree with you that using market orders/stop orders in certain situations can add more protection to your trades than limit orders.

ALGOs run the show and they do such via different sizes including via small size positions to fool the typical naive retail trader. Simply, there's no flipper...just ALGOs (many many many ALGOs)...fighting each other and trying to exploit retailers.
