Nope, the average Asian trader doesn't give a shit about US markets, other than as a lead for the next day.Maybe the Asians, who do not celebrate the US holiday? Just as the US does not celebrate the Asian holidays? But considering that most of the trading equity takes place on the U.S. exchanges each day, it could be considered a "real" holiday? *shrugs*
It's purely CME greed that we can't even get a real holiday. Well, you could, just ignore their hours, no liquidity anyway so why bother.
Just look at the NYSE holiday schedule and the CME Holiday schedule. Nothing to do with Asians.
