You can now get a (big) passive radiator for your gaming cards. Its not as big as my Ninja but its close :)

Dualhead gaming cards... passively cooled? Quite a concept. Are they not "low-end" gaming cards? Most gamer are looking for high performance.. high resolution and FPS. Can you get 2 of them for $50?

No, 1 would cost around 80 Euro.

I think you could call the low-end and they are not really fit for hardcore today's game, but will do fine for games that are 2 years or older, at moderate res of 1280x1024 at 100fps.

Their architecture is almost the same as is the chipset, compared with their high-end brethren, and they are sometimes slightly underclocked. Of course, trading doesn't use any of the 3D acceleration so the card wouldn't get hot anyway. You might even try to increase the clocks again.

I have to repeat they prove excellent bang/buck. I think with current DVI-connections and digital monitors it would take a real specialist with test-programs to spot the difference with a Matrox that costs 10 times as much.
 
Can I have 2 screens of varying size and resolution run on the same computer via 2 video cards?

Can it be done with 1 dual output video card?

Currently I have an analog LCD and was looking to get a larger Digital input LCD and keep both (the larger for trading and the smaller for all other stuff).

Yes to all. If you go the dualhead route, just be sure the video card has one DVI + one VGA port.
