Actually the dollar is getting punished in sunday trading so far. My thoughts about this are that US is a major Israel supporter, so USD will fall.

People seem to forget that prior to this, Israel had blocked entry of food, medicine and fuel to the Gaza Palestinians for months. Hamas fired rockets into Israel (with NO casualities) after the cease-fire ended and after it was clear that NOTHING would be done to alleviate the continued sufferings of the Gaza people. If Hamas had intended to kill Israelis with their rockets, they could have certainly done it - they have done it previously. But they did not - their intent was different.

Israel's response was to massacre 300 Palestians (including civialians - women and children too). That death toll will only increase as the Israeli strikes will continue. Their aim is to completely wipe out Hamas, render the remaining Gazans helpless so that the occupation can continue the way Israelis desire.

What's the problem?

When there is an overwhemlming flood of suicide bomber volunteers for forays into Israel for vengence, will you still be asking that question?

Jews are no smarter than anyone else. They are just manipulators and opportunists - but they will pay a price when it matters, just like everyone else.
