USD index

The risk off move that's been going on for a few weeks seems to have run it's course for now. Watching Gold, which seems to be holding. Just added to usdcad short. Short covering moves are usually pretty violent. Watching gbp which is stronger than EUR and holding.
 
1.2840 is the number to get through in Usdcad. So far so good all around. Still can't figure out USDJpy. Looks lower but won't break.
 
Ok now we're cooking. This should be more than a day trade, though I'll cut back if we get a nice push. Euro resistance 1.1975 from last night.
 
If you're thinking about anything more than a scalp, I'd be very careful going short USD here. It seemed obvious that a short term bottom was in place against USD, and those traders are being trapped as I write this.
