USB VGA adapter as a substitute for a video card

Does anyone use a USB VGA adapter for a video card instead of adding another video card? Is the performance the same? Do you get ghosts from them or do they really act like a new monitor?

It works great. I use it for my third monitor on a 19" widescreen. Performance is the same and runs videos fine just like the ones off my video card.

I have the same one and it works great. I don't use it to view videos so I can't comment on that performance but in regards to trading, it's as good as a vid card.

I use this on my laptop where you can't install another vid card.
