I saw it in the news when he spoke about that. The doctors who were sitting on the side didn't know how to react when he questioned them about it and T said it has not been done yet but might maybe be interesting to do some research on it. He also spoke about light that kills the virus.

You have to understand...I watched every briefing he gave, live, since this shit started. Why not? I work from home and have time on my hands. You can tell when Trump is joking, because people in the audience actually laugh. Nobody laughed there.

The stupidity is that a joke as such was done during a press conference in a Pandemic "after" many Americans have lost their lives.

Frankly, if such was true (I doubt it) about a joke...its tasteless because it correlates with his lack of empathy.

In contrast, I've seen world leaders (Trudeau, Macron, Johnson) joke about Trump and it was easily to determine they were joking / making fun of the guy / smiling at his expense.

Seriously, Trump was not joking...he was just being his tacky / tasteless self in comparison to other times prior to the Pandemic when he smiled while casting out a joke even if it wasn't a joke.

I know there are no stats for it ... but how many under 35's work in or near the elderly or those with underlying health concerns who they could possibly pass on Covid 19 to after a night out uhhh socializing? Pool parties, concerts, bar hopping all of course without PPE any kind!

Many don't understand, they think if they are symptom free they don't have it.

What Trump said was not a joke. Trump himself is a big joke. But he is too stupid to understand it.

Thats the narrative that they spin. Doesn’t mean it will be so. Corporation yes will have less to put in their pockets for bonus etc while they short change the worker But in the end it will work out better for American public.

If the USA would like to live just on their own and forget all other countries they will go back to the stone age.
The US exports about 1.5 trillion dollars that would not be exported anymore. So it should not be produced anymore, which means high unemployment unless the US itself would buy these 1.5 trillion dollar products. But as they don't buy it now why should they buy it then? They don't need these unnecessary products.

Same problem with 2.5 trillion imports. They import for some reason: cannot produce it themselves or the raw materials are not found in the US. So many products would not be available anymore.

You have a very simplistic way of thinking and you have no clue about the positive impact of globalism. Just like your idol Trump.

Outside the US we should then block Google, Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft, Apple, Coca Cola, Mc donalds, Boeing, ....
And the US would have this year a shortage of probably over a billion masks resulting in much more deaths as these masks had to be bought in China.
