You got to understand freedom loving Americans. The country was founded upon rebellion to England. Rebellion is in our very nature. Embedded in our DNA. We had rather die from a terrible sickness than give up our rights to decide for ourselves. We don't like government mandates. The liberals in our country do. We had rather die than give up our rights to have guns. Liberals (most) would give them up and want the rest of the country to do likewise. This is about much more than the election. It delves into the underlying belief system of the American. If there were no upcoming election the posture taken by both sides would still be the same.

It is a bit ridiculous almost hilarious. We let the government tell us speed limits. Building codes and many other local and state mandates. But wearing masks? No that is an infringement upon our personal liberty. That is how we Americans look at that. It is a misguided view of things. Our view of freedom creates cognitive dissonance if you really look at it. Take the push to start schools back up. Many Americans FROM BOTH SIDES, liberal and conservative, are for it. That too is misguided. It is insane from my point of view to start schools back up. Why do they want to do so? Don't like babysitting kids? Can't work watching kids? Don't like home schooling? Kids unruly? If they open schools some kids are probably going to die from covid. Then what?

I said from the very beginning when the virus appeared that it was going to be exponential in multiplication and that marshal law should be declared, the military and national guard patrolling the streets and MAKING Americans stay home. If they would have done this for 6 to 8 weeks we would be over this already, in my opinion. Alas, I have only found 1 American who reluctantly agreed with me.

I am a bit of a rebellion too, but I do not lose contact with reality. I know my limitations and that kept me alive. Go beyond your limitations and you end up dead.

Trump told that the US has the most powerful army in the world. I agree with that. But the US did not win the war in Vietnam, the US did not win the war in Afghanistan (neither did the Russian before them) and the US did not win the war in Syria. So even the most powerful have their limitations.

I read yesterday an article about an 37 year old ex-US military who served in Iraq and in Afghanistan. He told everywhere that he would never put a mask against Covid-19. He kept his word... he died a few (2?) months later from Covid-19 and will never wear a mask. It is horrible that people die in such a stupid way. Nobody in invincible.

In all hospitals all people who work there wear mask since the start of Covid-19. Most of these people have a medical education and know why they wear that mask. So from start it was clear that masks help. But Mr T (who paid somebody to do his test to pass them for college, as he himself was too stupid to do the test) knows everything better than any person in the world. For months he did not wear a mask. He preferred to inject longs with chloride to heal people.

So to avoid panic they thought it was smart to tell that mask don't work. If masks don't work, why do they buy then hundreds of millions of masks?

Then in March we locked down for 2 months, we had to stay at home, we could only get out for grouceries or medicines (once a week was strongly suggested even if not always followed), Masks came later as the shortage continued throughout march and early April.

In May reopening started and now we are back to an almost normal life, 150 new infected a day (the equivalent of 750 for the US).

Would have been that difficult to do the same in the US?

I think any other president would have trusted his scientist advisers and done what all country were doing in Europe.

This president, told americans to inject themselves with disinfectant and/or expose themselves to strong light, then advised them to take Chloroquine.

When NY state had 10K infections they locked down. When Florida has 12K they open up Disney World.

Our medical advisors have been wrong all around. Why trust them? Nobody knew anything. But blame Mr T.

As far as chloroquine it does work from what many doctors are saying but no money to be made in it and since Mr T recommended it and the media hates him of course they had to rail against the use of it and him because of their hatred of him.

We had no masks because we (democrats and republicans) out sourced the manufacturing of them to China and other Nations. Mr T is solving that problem. Globalism is a terrible disease.
