Wrong again on all counts. Asking for the rich to not have all the political power the way they already have most of the economic power is not akin to communism. Corporations are NOT people, and they need to be regulated or they quickly revert to sociopathic actions. This isn't theory, this is fact, historical as well as current. We had at one point not very long ago the potential to eliminate poverty in the USA. That potential has likely been squandered but that doesn't mean we should continue down the road where the rich get richer at the expense of everybody else. If this is "class warfare", so be it. A lot of plutocrats and their political toadies have been waging war on the middle class for decades now, it's well time for the middle class to start fighting back.Quote from bone:
Well, the object of this post - indeed, the object of Kut trying to pick a fight, is the proposition that the Federal Government of the United States should be re-distributing wealth to such an extent that there are no real perceptable differences in living standards and no 'poor'.

Interesting. It's always easy to pick your own stats to compare things to in order to rank them how you want. I wonder, however, a few things.
If I live in Sweden, or Denmark, or Russia, if I have to press 1 in order to get my native language?
What is the penalty if I illegally immigrate to Germany? Or Hungary? And i'm caught?
How many jobs in Finland or Britain are outsourced to other countries?
Does New Zealand, or Iceland, or South Korea pay for educating it's illegal populations - assuming there are any large illegal populations in the first place?
