US to give up control of Internet

I have trouble believing anyone could be implementing these ideas who was not trying to destroy liberty and freedom.

Giving up control of the internet. something al gore invented along with global warming? how could anyone think that is a good idea.
Soon we will see internet taxes and before long censorship. Yeah I want the UN to control the internet.

This must be stopped before it gets any further.
Carter gave up the Canal... now Obama wants to give up control of the internet.

U.S. officials announced plans Friday to relinquish federal government control over the administration of the Internet, a move that pleased international critics but alarmed some business leaders and others who rely on the smooth functioning of the Web.

Pressure to let go of the final vestiges of U.S. authority over the system of Web addresses and domain names that organize the Internet has been building for more than a decade and was supercharged by the backlash last year to revelations about National Security Agency surveillance.

Daniel Castro, a senior analyst at the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, disputed the connection between NSA revelations and Internet governance in an op-ed Friday, and he warned that ICANN would not be held accountable without U.S. control.
“If the Obama Administration gives away its oversight of the Internet,” he said, “it will be gone forever.”
Some criticism of the decision immediately started popping up on Twitter.
“Every American should worry about Obama giving up control of the internet to an undefined group,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich tweeted shortly after the announcement. “This is very, very dangerous.”

This is an extremely smart thing for a tyrant to do in order to get TOTAL censorship, i.e., control of of what he considers his subjects. The tyrant already owns the media. Hell, the gubment already pays cnn! If he has control over the Internet, he could LITERALLY start sending his Gestapo out to lock up dissenters who are evil enough to love freedom, and NO ONE would know about it. He's already single-handedly shut down all negative emails about his tyranny via NSA. The Internet is the last hold out at this point, and I'll have to give the tyrant credit for being smart. Yes Jem, this is something people should be flipping the fuck out over, in the streets with signs, and raising hell. Once he censors the net, there will be ZERO organization of freedom groups in large numbers, and it will be all over. Sure, a handfull of freedom lovers will meet in some basement, but were talking about handfulls vs millions.:eek::mad::mad:

Odumbo is actually an Islamic Terrorist. He's doing everything within his power, without being so obvious about it as to invite heavy push-back, to harm America.

If you view his actions in this context, everything he does is perfectly consistent and makes perfect sense.

The UN will use this control to extort money from Americans, just like every policy Obama has pushed has been designed to exort money from rich republicans and give it to his supporters.

Unfortunately, once we foolishly give this control up, we will never get it back.

A friend of mine was a dem. He voted for Onazi in 08 as he "couldn't take any more of bush" meaning McCain. (Yes, McCain does suck.) none he less, when I told him his candidate was dangerous, he said "he's just one guy. How much damage can one guy do?" Well, he's since seen the err of his decision, and is sorely sorry he was "tricked" (msm, his old school dem dad, etc.,), into casting that vote. He was recently moved to a part time position, or was going to be laid off if he didn't accept it...
